JConcepts has a couple but they may be a little narrow.
Vaterra has a 68 F100 but it's made for a touring car wheelbase.
The Outlaw Rampage has a pretty cool Baja body.

Maybe the Carisma '76 F-150? It's 324mm wheelbase, can't seem to find the width... It's a looker, though. Also, they make a drop-bed kit for it.

I'm currently looking for the Carisma ( body only) and can't find it anywhere. I haven't checked oversea yet but I'm only finding rtr kits on amazon/ ebay. This is the one that I've been posting pics of lately in the trx4 section that my buddy and I did for his defender chassis so if you need any input, OP... I'm happy to help.

Just came across the Kyosho Mad Crusher. It's not exactly a Ford but it's kinda Ford-ish. WB is about 13.8" and it's about 8" wide at the grill so it may be a little wider at the fenders. With some Ford decals you could probably pull it off as a Ford.

You can get a clear body for about $60 at ebay. Mad Crusher body

I have a Jconcepts 1979 F250 body and it is 8" wide.
Bumper to bumper is 20-1/2".

I would like to find a short bed version of it. The long bed gets hung up here and there in the tight twisty paths.

You could always bob it

Is it possible to bob a lexan body??
Seems like it would lose a lot of structure.

I bobbed the rear of the bed on an rc4wd tacoma body (lexan) and just e6000'd it together. Stronger than ever. To make a long bed into a short bed, you'd really need to shorten both ends (in front and behind the wheel opening) which means you'd need to bridge the cab and bed sections back together with a scrap of lexan (or something) glued on the backside. As long as the body was painted before glueing things together, the seams won't be terribly noticeable.

Bobbed an Axial C10 body recently. Just cut a section out of the rear and attached it back together with styrene strips/epoxy and a little bondo finishing paste in the seams, worked just fine.

JConcepts makes the widest F150 bodies for a 12.3 WB. Unfortunately they don’t make a 70’s version. They make an early 80’s and early 90’s. Nice thing about them is how well you can stuff a 4.75” tire in them

I like the body pin in the second photo is that a stick? I've started carrying spares for when I forget to put them on at the house.

There is a topic here discussing that grill and I believe it was too large for the Jconcepts body. I'll see if I can find that thread.

Proline’s 1979 F150 cab and TRX4’s Bronco grill/headlamps?

I didn’t realize jconcepts made the 79. Likely the grill would need some modifying to fit the width, but likely could be done

Edit: just looked at the jconcepts web page, looks the width might actually match. Not sure how comparable the body lines are however. Could take some massaging

The body referred to in your linked thread is made by Proline, it is discontinued. It was a narrow cab only body. I don’t know the width on the jconcepts 79, but if it matches the 80’s or 90’s bodies they released the traxxas grill might need widening to fit

My bad.
I bought the Jconcepts 79 body for my SCX10 II a few weeks ago. It is right at 8" wide. Not sure of the TRX grill width.

Yrah jconcepts just came out with a 79 f250 crawler width body.
I have the older monster truck width 79 and it was closer to 1:12 scale.

Good question about the traxxas bronco grill.
You would have better luck with a 3d printed grill from RCNerds on shapeways.
He actually shrunk down a grill he developed for the proline f250 cab mentioned earlier.
I gave him the measurements and it came from shapeways with the dimensions I supplied.
Looked and fit EXCELLENT.
I'm sure he would do it again for the new crawler width 79.
