Most of my rigs are painted on the outside...

Both the Zuke and Bronco are.

Here’s my overkill weathered F250/Traxxas Bronco body. Every color you see if painted on the outside. It’s held up great the past 1.5 years.

Very cool looking rigs, paint from outside makes lexan like a hard body and also looks scale..

have cliffhanger body but i’m not good mix and match colors, so i made this thread for reference. looks like i’m gonna paint it from outside.

Done!!

Backing color is Bright Gun Metal, hopefully if it’s scratching outside body the inside color pops up as a ‘metal look-a-like’.

Want to add some stripes on sides of body, but don’t know what color and what pattern that are simple but standout a bit. I’m thinking like a pictured old Vanquish kit body.

Looks great! I like the look of the flat finish. As it ages with rock rash, it'll look even better!

Looks great. Love the finish.. Makes for an excellent backer color as well should you ever decide the body needs a refresh
