| What body for a performance minded 12.5 Class 2/3 rig?
Need a body for my Monster Mash Build. Looking for suggestions. Lexan only option please. And likely looking to do a Cab and Cage/Flatbed combo. Heard Harley say something about a possible New Version of the Power Wagon. The new chevy option from PL doesn't look bad. But Tomorrow is my Birthday (8-4) and the PL 66 Chevy (I was born in 66) has a certain appeal for obvious reasons. But looking for option. Rig is 12.5 wb. What you think? |

All the ones you mentioned are good looking bodies. I personally would do Cliffhanger. If strictly class 2, I'd probably do a Proline Hilux and boat/bob the bed.

I like the Jconcepts F250 body. I just put one on my TRX4 and it looks pretty good. With some better trimming and painting than I did this body has some pretty good potential. Super light weight too. |

What about the MST J45C body and bed setup? Anyone have info on it? Is it decent quality? not too flimsy? I wont be 'comping' persay, but may get into one or two here in Michigan. |

| Re: What body for a performance minded 12.5 Class 2/3 rig? I have it. It's a really nice body and detailed well. But because I put it on a GSpeed V3 chassis, I hacked the flares off and the body is resting on the front shock towers. And I didn't use the bed as it's too heavy. But it's got a rear fairlead which would be cool for a rear winch setup.

Thinking maybe an Origin or even a Phoenix bodyset as it has the cage and cab only. doesn't look bad, and isn't super overdone at the moment. Bit pricey for a full body set though. But still open to ideas for a cab only. Cage options can be figured out quick as I have a few ideas I want to bring into it for this build. And I need to decide soon if I want to have it ready should I decide to go to the Gauntlet run here in Michigan Sept 16-17 with it. | |
