Pro Lines New Comp Spec Power Wagon.
 

Is up for Pre-Order at PL with a Sept delivery date.
Got one on its way for the Monster Mash build.
Was debating using a Phoenix setup but decided to keep this one lightweight as I can.
Seen this on SNU a few weeks ago, then seen Josh mention it was already on the website.
I like the new mold with Suicide Doors, trimmed back f fenders, and good detail to it.
Anyone else have one on Pre Order or thinking about getting one?
Kind of have a clue on color scheem I want to do, but not settled yet.
Now to determine what to do for a rear cage. Have a plan, but still need to come up with a subframe. The Sendaro Utility cage looks interesting.

But what other options are people using on their other power wagon rigs?

pic of the rig I'll be mounting on. Will use some form of hidden mount I'll likely have to come up with. but that shoudl be pretty simple I'm thinking.

Someone on this forum, IIRC, took the Element optional Sendero caged bed and narrowed & pinched it - that would be a nifty choice!

I like the look of the Sendero rear cage. Pretty clean and would lend itself to my finishing ideas pretty well.

The GMade BOM rear cage also looks pretty good. More of a racing rig rear end, and a big busy in that there is a bit to it, but that would help in the long run I think.

Is why I am hoping for some pics of what others have done.
Thanks on the tip on IIRCs build. Sounds like what I need to take a look at in the least.

Sorry, hope to clear up some confusion here - IIRC means If I Recall Correctly!

I'm nearly positive that I saw a post on this forum where a member had cut sections of the crossbars and then reconnected them somehow.

Also, if you could scare up a Vaterra rear cage - from either the Chevy K10 or Ford F100, they come already tapered.

One more idea - cut the front away and use the rear of a Gatekeeper cage - people are practically giving those away, because they'd rather use a Lexan body for lower COG..."thumbsup"

Those have a radiator with fans as well as a fuel cell attached.

AH. I thought that at first, then considered you were mentioning a member. lolol Whoops.

Good thoughts on the other options. Ive considered cutting out a rear end from a caged rig. I have a ryft and bomber and both appear they could be made to work. I'll check the Vaterra cage out. Gatekeeper is one Ive looked at previously but had forgot about. Another good option.

New Body got here yesterday (Sunday 9-11).

Ordered it last Wednesday.

So the 1st order was to re-do the wiring on the rig and get it cleaned/cleared up enough so it is all up under the body, except for the dig servo anyways.

Got that out of the way and did the first trim on the body losing all the flats on the bottom.
Next is ti trim up the back at least enough to get it to set level over the dig servo. then trim the front till I get it setting as low as I want it, then the back again to relevel the body. Then figure out mounting and finally the last trim of the wheel wells and clean up for painting.

One step at a time as these things go.

Its a good looking cab. Look forward to seeing how you finish it off.

How is the width working? looks narrow on the sliders.

Narrow indeed. Either need to live with it. bend things up. Cut/modify them... Or maybe just remove them and get something for the powerwagon directly...

There is about 1/3rd an inch from back to front on each side.
VS410 chassis setup. the Battery plate needs to be trimmed as it pushed out too far if its to stay in place...

Will take a bit of funking around to get it in the right position.

Thinking I'll look for a 3d printed PW Slider option. Or maybe something else that will work, but it light.

So what is decent bumper, prefer stinger and fairlead.
Looking at options out there. If I can't find what I'd like I may have to put something together, but for the moment, looking for off the shelfish options.

Could also use some ideas for a rear bumper, though I think I know what I'll end up doing, options are always good.

Seen a few of their offerings. the one you linked has no fairlead so I'd need to cut one which wouldn't be a problem. He has a few others that are close but not quite what I'm looking for. There is one with a simple stinger that may be the way I go unless I try my hand at making something up myself.

Have u checked out ierc? Maybe rock pirates? Ierc has quite a few differnt options n some PW body option parts as well

i vote for making your own even if it isent 100% you can always make another one and improve on your last one bumper cage sliders make all of it

home made is always cooler than store bought

The Chassis and sliders are stock VS4-10 Pheonix items from Vanquish.
I cut the sliders down so they fit the Power Wagon body once I determined where it will mount to the rig.

They'll still protect the body well. though I'll likely add a pair of tube sliders just on the outer edge of the body on the sides to help give it that little bit more
