Hard body - Paints on top of TS

So . . . going in on my first hard body. I have quite a bit of experience with lexan bodies (I primarily paint outside). I've got some understanding of what paints works on top pf PS paints, wondering if it works the same with TS?
Can I apply other paints as long as there is proper adhesion to the body initially?
Ultimately, I'd like to lightly airbrush my with some lexan paint on top of my layers of TS. I'll be clear coating after its all done . . . any issues from those with experience?

Lots on the net about applying TS on top of PS. . . .but don't see much about the reverse.

Thanks for your help!

I have never really had an issue with any type of pains sticking to the Hard Bodies. I have used everything from Tamiya PS/TS, Rustoleum, Plastidip, Automotive Wheel Paint, Automotive touch up paint. As long as the temps right and you prep the surface well. The paint never seems to have any issue sticking.

PS on top of TS is a disaster. It's ok the other way, TS over PS. Proper prep is the key.

On hard bodies and even plastic models, I like to use automotive paints, to include the primer, main color and clear coat. For best results, use the same brand.

You can use auto paint on lexan also, as long as you spray PS-55 first. This is my TRX4 with the PS-55 and automotive dark olive metallic paint.
