Default sticking pictures

Can't you take thinned white glue and use it to stick pictures that you cut out of magazines inside the body before you paint it?
When the glue dries, its invisible and all you really need is for it to seal the picture and stick long enough to get the paint on it don't you?
Thanks DC

I read that in an earlier thread when I did a search.
I was hoping to find something I could use around the house without having to wait for another package to arrive in the mail.
I read somewhere to use hodge podge or modge podge or something like that. I've heard its nothing more than thick white glue in a paste.
Anymore ideas?
DC
