I sat down about and started taping a body for my 2.2s Nationals rig . I ended up painting the hood scoop, roof scoop , a strip down the door and the drop part in the back metallic black . The strip on the door fades to silver . The rest of the body was sprayed pearl then sprit white . It turn out pretty good . Black and white theme goes along with what some call me on here . "TRUGGY Police"

My 4wd puller

I painted the body with Pactra Metallic Black . I cut the 2 sticker grill up . I used the bar grill and the headlight rings from the stock grill . I also cut the headlights out of the body . My plans are to set red lights in them . I has custom decals made they are red and chrome . The front window banner is one of Bowtie's . The other pulling sponcer stickers are from Termyte .

Well I have not painted anything in a long time . But I did find time this week to cut out some Alum. panels and trim out a Dinky hood for my 1.9 wraith / SCX10 build . I didn't have a pattern so I just did what looked right . As for paint I went with Tamiya TS-20 metallic green and TS-6 matt black . I painted the hood and side panels green and the top and bed cover black . I trimmed out an old Proline Chevy grill sticker and made it work . The light stickers are from an old HPI sticker sheet .

add another one
Pactra Indy silver and Outlaw black . The top and the cowl where paint on the inside and outside . That gives it more of flat look . Also if it takes a scratch it still shows black .

Well looks like it has been 2 years and 3 month since a update to this thread . Don't seem that long but the again I hate to paint . lol

My old JYD truck body was getting bad about 2 1/2 years ago . I bought the body and paint then . Since I hate to paint it has took me that long to get around to it . I did the inside of the body in copper . Then painted outside silver before paint the green, silver and black . I also did my bed liner trick to the bed .
