It's been so long I don't remember. I probably did the darker blue and then dumped a little in a bottle of white to get the lighter blue.

I've done it another way...
1. Spray a transparent color first and let dry.
2. Pour silver or gold metallic in a bowl and blot with a plastic bag.
3. Back in black

This method had great depth
