The body looks sweet, but everyone knows girls can't drive. Time to go buy a GI Joe

I mostly wanted to bring this post back to the top, because I need ideas for my ax10 B17 body. But to contribute. Here is my Savage I painted. |

Bodies I've painted for myself over the years Here's a bug I did for my SCT Some of you may be old enough to remember the Drag Racing Team of Sox & Martin. They were tough to beat in any class they ran in. This is my idea of what they may have driven in a Monster Truck I put a real wood and brass bed in this Ford Pick em up for my Savage Flux. I bought it for a SCT but found that it fit my Savage Flux pretty good. Painted this one for my Losi SCT. I tried a little carbon fiber spray on the rear and it came out pretty good. Inside light isn't right. Green is much darker Candy. The black and Candy Purple together is a little dark, but looks good, Igave the tail lights just a mist of transparent red, and the headlights just a mist of transparent blue. Painted this one with some carbon fiber in the rear and blue flames on the front. Hardest part was probably the masking and cutting out the openings for air. I just started air brushing this year and I wanted to try fading. This was the result. This is the one I'd rather drive, but it's a bit more expensive. 514 RWH show car. Now I'm into RC. I wish I could take credit for the paint, but I didn't do it. Last edited by THX_138; 04-26-2016 at 08:00 AM. Reason: MERGE, ... 13 individual back to back posts |
