| Window Nets
Has anybody built/bought/have window nets for scale builds? I think it would look neat. I have seen a cuple of threads that mention nets but none that tell you who, what, or how. Anyone have any ideas?

couple thoughts off the top of my head. Some toys that come with the "netting' holding them in. they sell a tight net thing that holds stuffed animals that you can hang from you celing. Old fishing net. Butterfly net. etc. ect. If you go to like walmart and just look around I'm sure you'll find a million different variaties that could be used for this application. |

My company sells a plastic mesh nettingmade by Internet. I have access to some pretty cool looking stuff. Check out internetmesh.net under pastic mesh netting and then under aquaculture. I can get samples of anything listed. The samples should be large enough for what we need |

I'll bring some samples home tonight and take a picture besides a crawler so you can get a better idea of the mesh size

I bought some Oranges at the store the other day. They came in some red netting. Looked just like Baja Desert race truck netting.

Though the orange net stuff might be good too. Or ... fishnet stockings ... just don't let your wife or gf catch ya taking them. :-P I had a nother thought as well ... I know that the 1:1 nets are wider and flatter, I was thinking if you used the fish net or orange net you might be able to carefully iron it on low heat to flatten it some and make it look more realistic ... but don't have anything to try on right now. Try getting some Black ribbon and make your own. With a dap of CA glue it wouldn't take anytime.
