I had to cut off the bumper, because the grille sticks out farther than the bumper now, and that just looks weird. So I'll either re-mount or eliminate the bumper.

Two-tone is white, of course

The turn signals are painted with old-formula Model Master Turn Signal Amber (the new formula is a lot more yellow, this bottle goes back to '99 or so and is starting to dry up).

CAUTION, do not play on or around

This was my very first car, built it in high school shop class, had it since I was 15 1/2. that was a LONG time ago.

someday, when I have a son, he will drive it to high school just like I did.

8 lug dana 60 in front and 8 lug 14 bolt out back with 4:10 gears, lockers and 35's w/ 6" lift and weld wheels.

You won't need it, it's dead easy.

Paint the outside of the roof for a proper flat finish.

That is a nice blazer, but what a garage! Please tell me that's where you work and not behind your house. If it is I hate you!

The body came out real nice. What are you gonna do for the bumper?

Perfect!. Nice job MG.
Now I can build my '77 Blazer, gonna do the faded maroon paint and all I think.

Not all of them had full removable tops. I think only '74 and earlier.

Not only is the shop to die for but so is the Blazer. Of course so is the land, and the town. I loved being up there.

Seeing Ben's Blazer got my wife off my back about selling mine....for a little while longer.

Coles, I'm not sure about the bumper. I hated having the grille stick out beyond the bumper, so it had to be cut off anyway. I'll either mount it to the chassis or come up with a new one. Sort of depends on the direction the build goes. It'll tell me what it wants to be as I get deeper into it.

fulltop blazers were 73-75, after that was half top. 77 was the only year with mustard trim, not black. FYI
