Default Tamiya re release hilux?

Found this on the Tamiya club forum. Is there any hope they will release it to the public? rather than just limited edition?

The new link worked for me. Scroll down once you clicked it and use google to translate.

Tamiya should re release the kit in original form with the metal axles. Maybe some slight improvements just to make it more mechanically sound.

It would be very expensive (with metal axles) but I am sure it would sell and at the same time preserve the value of the originals.

Atleast the hilux bodies will be easier to come by now.

They need to make a tacoma body.

It's a very short run of bodies for a Tamiya Fair in Japan, limit one per visitor. So the cost is only $60 plus airfare.

They'll be as sky-high as the originals once they hit ePay.

i agree with microgoat, they will still fetch a mind boggling amount of money for a piece of plastic, but i would still buy a couple if given the chance

Looks like a hi-lift with probably a cheap mountaineer body.
