Well, it was fun to be a part of this great event. The scale turnout wasn't quite what I'd have liked, but it was a good time nonetheless. I would like to thank Team3six and Pitbull tires for donating some prizes for this competition. I'll update scores later this week due to the fact that I've been working my butt off unloading things, washing lots of clothes, and truthfully....I'm really tired. I was able to take a few pictures between bouts of judging and keeping an eye on my 5 and 7 year old that were there. Big thanks to John Repplinger and Ryan Gerrish for pulling off such a great event! On to the pics..... Mr. Ryan Gerrish in his Class 1 Mercedes My Class 1 Grand Cherokee doing work on course 2. Dane F. in a perilous position attempting a class 2 bonus gate. The Devil himself putting the beatdown on everyone in his class 2 Jeep. Even the best have to spool winch every once in a while. Pretty sure this is Dave R. finishing his course 2 run in class 2. And Dan D. finishing his run in style. I also got to beat up my Willys in the G6 type event that took place on Saturday and Sunday. 125 gates, 1.5+ miles, and (3) 1600mah battery packs each day.... I had a great time as well. Hearing a few of the comp guys say how much they enjoyed doing a "fun" scale course after doing battle with there 1.9's and supers all morning was awesome. Thanks to Ryan, John, Team3six, Pitbull, and all the others who helped make this event happen Here are the few pics I took. My Trail hilux Devlin's class 3 on course My EB after both of John's insane G6 style races. |

Thanks Tim and to all of the others that made this a special event. I had a blast, especially after getting beat up on the difficult but challenging 2.2 and 1.9 courses. My interest in scale was invigorated after this event.
