| Sportsman/Shafty Class @ CRAWLAPALOOZA
Who wants to run the Sportsman/shafty class. We are going to run a shafty class. You'll run the same courses as the 2.2 class. Those that want to run both 2.2 and Shafty , will have to run all the courses with your MOA 1st. Turn your 2.2 score card in and then go run your shafty. I'm putting my money on Mad Mike Manning in the Shafty class. More info on how to sign up tomorrow. I havn't told Mike about all this yet. I'll tell him tomorrow at the our club comp.lol Then he can get it set up. Last edited by ROCKEDUP RICKY; 09-23-2011 at 07:35 PM. |

I for one would like to see this sporty class replace the piss ants. At national level comps anyway. | |

Ricky, it's great to see a big event like Crawlapalooza offer a Sportsman Class. I believe anything we can do to support members with 2.2 shaft trucks with it's own venue is a win win. It gives the class a future which in my opinion is important, especially for local clubs where the 2.2 shafty is a workhorse for new membership. Something sorely missing IMO. Great vision. |

| just my opinion, but I'd love to see sport class recognized. I think alot of people would be in that class. I think 1.9 has the 2nd highest attendancre mainly because Supers are expensive compared to 1.9's and sport class is seen as a novice class instead of a seperate 2.2 class. I love driving my sport rig and would love to be able to compete with it more.

I hope this is the start of something good, the 2.2 Shaft trucks dig or not are flat out pure fun to drive. Plus we all have one or two just sitting on shelves this has real potential.

| Meet at comp spot at 8:00 am Comp spot is at the bottom of the big dam, just west of Hogan's camp ground. Easy to find. 8:01 Driver's meeting 8:06 tech and the competiton starts. We will run 3 courses Then take a one hour break. That time will be when everyone has completed all 3 courses. After one hour break,we will run the next 3 courses After everyone has completed the 3 courses We will take a half hour break Top 5 shoot out after that. With the number of driver's we have. we should be able to have a smooth, relaxing good time. Do work drivers |
