Time is edging closer so plans are being made..... is there a charge for the camp site? or is it first come first serve?

we have already covered the cost for people to camp, sites would be first come first serve

Friday and Saturday night camping is paid for and yes its first come first serve as far as the actual spots themselves.

In order to make it for 2.2s class we have to leave from Sacramento Thursday at some point, will there be objections or costs to us arriving early?

No there are no objections at all! You can camp there thursday night as well however we did not pay for the camping for that night so you will need to contact the Town of Apple Valley at 760-240-7000 to reserve your spot. You can pm me or Rcjunky3 if you need more help. "thumbsup"

Jim, am I correct in assuming the paid camping spots are different from just parking a camper in the parking lot? I assume that's more or less unregulated?

Mark, I don't want to commit to another entire day of judging, but I'll be happy to put in some time on 2.2P if you remain short. Maybe two or three of us can tag-team it.

and will keep it as an option, but we really need 1 person to commit if possible to keep the judging as consistent as possible.

Bill we reserved the entire park so it is my understanding you can camp at any of the sites you want. The parking lot is unregulated but there are also some camping spots out by the grass area you can park your camper at. "thumbsup"

Nope. The Town of Apple Valley will only technically allow one vendor to sell things at the event and then they want 10% of the income from them. :roll:
I'm sure a little mom and pop selling isnt going to hurt anyone but we arent able to have a full on trade show going on there. Parking and setup will be on the gravel rock parking area near the bmx track if that helps. "thumbsup"

Can you explain this a little bit more? I just dont want to cause problems.

Is it going to be ok to set up a table, canopy and hang a banner? Would it be ok to put some product on that table or should it all be out of the trunk of the car?

That was pretty much I was asking."thumbsup" If we could rock a banner on the windshield and just represent? ;-) More or less just showing that we are there and promoting the event.

courses start at 11am
judges meeting 5pm
pre tech and check in for rest of weekend 4pm

Saturday March 9
course building 6am
tech and check in 630am
drivers meeting 7:30am
courses open 8am
all 5 courses closed at 3pm
top 10 shootout course start as soon as scores are tallied
awards for 2.2 pro and 2.2s immediately following finish of shootout

Sunday March 10
course building 7am
tech and check in 7am
drivers meeting 8:30am
courses open 9am
awards following last class finished
