Looks like we are going to go with 10am start time.
IF ANYONE CAN MAKE IT EARLY OR EVEN FRIDAY TO HELP SETUP COURSES THAT WOULD BE GREAT.

Scale rules are going to be the same as SVSC scale rules for now.

If anyone has any questions let me know. I am going down on thurs am to start setting stuff up and get more work done. I will be there till sun am.

If anyone has any questions comments or concerns please let me know.

Still waiting to hear back from a few places about prizes, we are going to do our own prizes next comp for multiple reasons.

Looks like we are going to have a decent turn out for the first event.

The rocks got a good spray with a hose and pressure nozzle, I am going to go over them again today with the hose and the brush.

If anyone has any questions let me know.

Thanks

I would like to thank Doc and all the EPA guys, without them this event would not have been possible. For the Rock houses first event I thought things went pretty good. Like Doc said things were learned and they will only get better! Now I need to work on getting more SVSC guys to come out.

Who is this chevillian guy? just kidding, I will have to bring my Chevelle over next time, then you won't misspell chevellian anymore

Not to sound like a newb, but what constitutes a scaler? I have a converted WK sitting on a MFM chasis. 55t motor...I am interested in the 2.2 scale events.

MFM does make a ladder type chassis for scalers, if that is the one you have you should be good. If you have the Black Widow chassis, that is a competition chassis and is not legal.

Here is a link to the rules that the Rockhouse is using:
http://www.team-svsc.com/forum/index.php?action=Rules
scroll down to section 9 for the scale rules.

Yes, that is a ladder frame. The beater body is not very scale, but the bronco body is. Also there is not a wheelbase limit, but the wheelbase must fit the body. In other words, the tires must line up with the wheel openings.

The scaler classes are designed to have the trucks look more like their 1:1 counterparts. The 2.2 class does allow for more radical vehicles, but should still be realistic in respect to a trail only vehicle.

Bring her out to the Rockhouse and have a ball.

Ok guys we will be open this week BY APPOINTMENT. If you want to come down and run on the indoor course we are going to charge $10 a day. All you need to do is call at least one day ahead and leave a voice mail or talk to me, or send me an email at doc@rcrockhouse.com. We are looking at being open certain days during the week but still getting more rocks and stuff so not always there. When the hobby shop opens we will have normal business hours. If anyone has any thoughts ideas or suggestions about this or anything else please let me know.

Thanks
Doc
