Hey, I'm in Indiana, and I could use a crawl mate once in awhile. Are there any hobby shops around you? I have been searching for anything. Whirlwind hobbies in Indiana totally sucks. Tailspin hobbies in Apollo is a pretty good shop. They have a lot of parts in stock and carry some RC4WD stuff. There's a place in Sarver called Pro4mance Hobbies, but I have yet to check it out. Even further away, though. Not sure if Nittany Line hobby is still around or not, but again, pretty far.....
I work third shift, so even though I was off tonight, I'm just going to bed. I can pretty much arrange my sleep schedule to accommodate my activities.

The answer to that depends on what style crawling you prefer. Western Pa Crawlers (W.Pa.C.) runs the comp classes while Trip State Scale Outlaws (TSSO) runs the scale classes. Both clubs have websites with forums you can check out. Also Network Hobbies has members from both clubs there and is a great source of info for Western Pa area crawling.

WPACRAWLER.com runs MOA , shafty ,& trail. I used our wraith for trail last year but will use our SCX this year & also plan to run in the shafty class , last year I ran trail only. Great, patient, guys to run with , lots of fun & you will learn a lot. I learned more in 4 comps than I did in 2 years of crawling with friends & family.

Last year we ran trail, shafty, & MOA. If enough people showed interest I bet they would run scale. I'm not in charge so I can't say for sure but I would run scale class if they ran one. Go to wpacrawler.com & ask there. I've been thinking about building a scale rig.
