Bummed that none of the CTRC guys made it out to the Recon G6. You missed an event right up your alley.

I dont think any of us even knew about it - only 2 of us are on here.

Edit: OK, only I didn't know about it. Guys were talking about it Sunday morning during our trail run.

Posted it up at the shop several weeks ago and tried to post it up on CTnews. not sure why I can't post there.

this g6 must of been a top secret Advent. because nobody in the Harrisburg area even know about it and it's only 45 minutes south of Rausch Creek. also it looks like it was only posted a couple days beforehand.

I guess they need to find other ways to get the information out to the public. If you have any suggestions please pass them along. I am hoping that the G6 will come back to the east coast next year and greater driver participation would be great.

John

it was first posted up.

I posted it up in the PA thread

I guess it should have posted up in the PA thread earlier, it was also on FB and if you are a member of RECON G6 it was also there.

well I'm not sure how they normally get information out to the public. not everyone is on Facebook or recon g6 and I barely even get on the site but if I do it is just to look around and learn more things about the trucks that I have. But here are some suggestions looking for local hobby shops within say 100 mile radius of the place where they would hold the event. Have printable flyer that you or I or anybody else would be able to print out and pass it along the lines or even snail mail it a few weeks before hand or even a month before hand of the event. there's enough people in this hobby and no other friends that do not get online and would pass information along. the only reason I even found out that there was an event is because when I went to my local hobby shop which is the hidden hanger they didn't even know about the event after the fact.

If we could gather a list of "local" hobby shops in PA that would be helpful. It would be a great way to spread the word about any events. Like I said I am always open to ideas.

Thanks, John

Welcome to the site! Love Scranton myself, such an interesting town. I'm a railroad guy, so there's all kinds of cool stuff up there.

I can say for sure that's a 2.5 hour hike for most of the guys down this way - I'll keep an eye out on your thread and pass a long any info you have.

Thanks to all that came out, great run though it was COLD at 8:00!! Frost, really??

Axial light bar disintegrated 2 weeks ago on a rollover and lost the main lens. Found the lens this week on the trail - winning!

Nemo rock? Not usually a fan of the grafitti all over up there, but this was pretty cool.

The next CTRC GTG is Sunday Oct. 12 at Green Lane park. We'll be meeting in the parking lot at Deep Creek Rd. at 8:00. Should be 2 Ascenders working their way around.

Planning on finally running my Sawback I built over the summer. Been on the bench for months! Time to knock some dust off
