Nothing personal, just don't feel welcome. I get that you guys feel the "new guys" are going a different direction...and we are. No comps, schedules, etc. Just a ragtag group that gets together when they can. Some of us prefer it that way. We were using EPA as sort of a base and hopefully intermingling (though guess not)...sorry again to intrude, it's your site and I respect that. I'm sure we'll all run into each other out on the trails as some point.

BM is nice, I've biked up there quite a few times. 1 side is flat, open trails, the other side is pretty good terrain. Like French Creek, lots of bikers/joggers but usually on the flat side. Terrain side is not nearly as populated. Good place to check out.

I'll definitely do Pete's whatever day we decide on. I might sneak out the other day and head do to the Schuylkill trail area to experiment with a few set-ups. The "red mud" area near the quarry wye...I hear it's haunted. Gotta dial in the Bronco, jeep and TH. All have been rebuilt since the last time I was out.

Glad you were there.
What part of the trail will you be on up near you?
I have biked all the way out past reading on those trails.

Me too...started in Pottstown, ended up past Blue Marsh. Flat tire just past Reading on the way back, walked back to Pottstown. Long day!!!

Right by the quarry wye. Turn at Turkey hill on Grosstown Road, park behind the cement casting plant. Can walk in on the trail, it's right there. Will go there Sat sounds like, and Pete's Sunday

There's another decent trail spot if I remember correctly up towards Douglassville. Park at Lords and Ladies and cut across the tracks (carefully) to the river. Might just hike over if I have time.

Sounds good, I would like to check that place out too.

Last time I was past Reading on a bike we got hit with a thunder storm pouring rain, rode 6 miles to my truck.

As of right now, GTG moved to Pagoda in Reading, Sunday at 9.

Still planning on visiting the Prairie (Pat tells me that what it's called) on Sat. Unsure on time.

Now, who's got pics from Saturday at Pete's?? How that hillclimb?
Its a shame you "new guys" are not so open to what EPA has to offer. I have been atthis stuff longer than most, been president of a club since 08. Jslick and the guys at EPA are some of the best dudes around, they would give you the shirt off their back and are a wealth of knoweledge. Nobody said you had to comp or piss on your fun. They only askedto be considerate of planned events, not that big of a request. Jslick and i go through alot to plan a years worth of events and Active and Quirk open up their homes and property to host. So I can seewhy feathers ger ruffled.
So please go a.different direction, its definitely your loss.

Sorry about the ruffled feathers, I'm quite sure that was no one's intention.

I'll be there. Funny, lived here all my life, never set foot near the Pagoda.

Dress warm....high of 47 - yikes! Assume it's a little windy up there as well.

Test and tune this morning...The "Spare parts Jeep" did ok. Definitely needs some work.

Very brave Ken! Water was moving pretty good, if it went over, it was going for a ride.

Silver jeep day?

Seriously, who paints trees??
