Come out and just have some fun... We have been scouting st. peter's for a while and found some decent hill climbs, tough trails and mud bogs. No pressure if you don't want to run through water pick it up and walk it. We are there for fun and thats the goal. We normaly start around 8 am. and go to about lunch or so.

I will be out at st. Peter's this Sunday along with a few others. Good fun, come check it out."thumbsup"

We are always trying to look for new spots in se Pa. If you know of a good one post up the location.

St. Pete's is a scaler nirvana. Any official rules or is it a "run what ya brung for fun" type deal?

Run whats ya brung for fun... We are out for fun and this could be a bridge for guys to get into comps too. I know I am going to try and comp next year, but I have learned so much just going out and playing around with set up and putting it to the test. Are you on rctech too? I was going to post it over there too and try to get the word out. Hope you can make it out some time.

I made it once already, had a blast. I got the black dingo with the short cage and cloth top that its hard to tell is a dingo from that angle lol.

had some driveshaft issues, which should be fixed by the next time I get out lol. I just need a weekend to relax with no long rides. 3 comps in 3 weekends has me burnt out on long drives.

Going out to French Creek Park is another great place to drive, there are tons of trails and you can drive all the way around the lake.

Re: trailing in se pa..

driving around the lake sounds fun... but when you put all the way infront of it it sounds more like a daunting hike lol.

Good times on the trail as you can see... That was the first time to witness 1/5 crawler, pretty neat. It went through some pretty rough stuff, I was shocked by what he did with it. Rob is the new king of the hill, he even took the hard route and made it stick. I run through some water but I wont sink my mine like Ty and the rest did..

St Peter's this weekend. Where to go for the next run? I would like to check out French creek like Jslick said.

stevetate12 09-24-2013 04:57 AM

I have a picture I will shoot over too you of his truck.

Good times.... Crazy Nick put together a crawler form a parts bin, Jeep gran cherokee (very cool looking) and after a swapping out a set of tires, he gave the hill climb a shot and dam near made it to the top. Ken drove his jeep through a 20' long pipe about half filled with water. Mud hole was a eating everyone. That 1/5 scale can truly make its own trails... Louis did some video and I am sure he will have them up soon.

I am in for next Sunday."thumbsup"
