Count me in - Pittsburgh Also have you guys heard of the "Pan Handle trail" in South Fayette. It's about two miles from Steel City Hobbies, in the valley behind NevileWood. It's a walking/hiking/biking trail that eventually hooks up with the Montour trail in Robinson. Massive amounts of crawling spots and plenty of access points. At the trail head there is an old rock quarry and a parking lot Every year they have a free contert called "Rock the Quarry" how sweet is that!!!! This is the link to the trail web site http://www.panhandletrail.org/ |

I live 10 minutes south of Wheeling, WV in Moundsville, WV. It's about 1 hour 15 from Pittsburgh. We used to take 1:1's to a little quarry / dump right off of the Eightyfour, PA exit on 79 for a quick shakedown. Might be a decent place to run crawlers. If you're heading south on 79, take the Eightyfour exit. Turn right, and just before you cross the railroad tracks, turn left. Follow that road back to a cool little quarry type area. I have no idea who's property, but last time I was there, it wasn't posted. If it's public, we could probably do an adopt a type deal on the property, and have use of the land...if it's public. Anyway, it'd be cool to meet up some time. Let me know when/where. |

Lewis and Razor...your in Evil, I think it may be a housing development now. I am about 15 mins away from there. I will have to check it out. Everyone, Keep your eyes open for some sites. We will want to jump around and experience different terrain. I am going to try to meet with Coles next week. Stay tuned to this post for details on the club. I am just amazed how many of you are out there...in my backyard. This is going to be great. Look forward to meeting all of you. John |

My store is in New Stanton(Raceway Hobbies), but I live in Scottdale. Hazzzy and Razor you guys are in my backyard. I'ld like to see where you guys crawl at. Evil, Lewis welcome guys. It looks like we are gonna have a club after all! That's pretty cool. I've been trying to organize something for months now. That "King of the Hill" contest sounds pretty cool. It would be a good place for everybody to meet. Everybidy that could make it. Razor, do you know if it's indoors or out? Might be a little cold in Feb, but I'm not scared. Who all would be able to make it? Last edited by Crawln Coles; 01-20-2007 at 09:28 AM. |
