thanks LEWIS you reminded me about the KING OF THE HILL contest. its febuary 10 outside the hobby shop in somerset. i need to find the times. its 8 bucks to register. if no one else shows up im representing rccrawler and this club what ever name were using.

Slow up Razor. I am going to meet with Coles to discuss the particulars. After our meeting I will post what we came up with and then go from there.

I will post name options at that time and we will vote on them.

too bad then pen down there doesn't have any decent crawling spots in there. i think that would be a cool place for GTG or a comp.

also my vote for the name is something OTHER THAN Steel City Crawlers. my reasoning for this is just because there are SO MANY other things in this area called steel city this and steel city that. but, that's just my $0.02...

King of the Hill is in Somerset. Coles is in New Stanton.

This is not a club thing. It is a hobby shop that Razor knows that it doing this.

I agree about not calling it Steel City Crawlers. I think people would think that it was linked to Steel City Hobbies in Bridgeville, PA.

monday is a bad night. i already stated my reasons in a post on the other thread about this. somerser is a bit to far of a drive for me on a monday night in the middle of febuary.

its the 10th not the 12th.
12 noon.
IT 10 BUCKS TO RUN.
open to all R/C vehicles.

CLASSES
15 & under
16 & over

RULES
must have a body.
If truck rolls over no helping it.
You have 5 minutes to get to line or its considered a loss.

OBJECTIVE
double elimination, first truck to finish line advances

PRIZES
1st: painted body & trophy
2nd/3rd: trophy

I am in morgantown wv, iam intrested in a crawler club or what ever you got in mind. may be able to find a couple more down this way that will want to come up. also we have some nice crawling areas down here that might interest you. later john
