AB Charles will be running RC Trucks at the Monster Jam. Those guys are nuts with their Weedwacker Powered RC Trucks. Wait until you see them. I saw what they were doing with them...It should be better than the 1.1 Monster trucks.

How about the PITT-Crawlers...crawlin' out of the PITT. -or- A couple guy's playing with remote controlled trucks that like to crawl over rocks in the City of champs...A.C.G.P.W.R.C.T.T.L.T.C.O.R.I.T.C.O.C. for short! Seriously though, just checking in to keep informed on any happenings after we thaw out in the iceBurgh. I'm still working on my TLT crawler...and checking out this forum...and the Harley forum...and trying to stay focused on my workout! Last edited by mascman; 02-18-2007 at 01:16 PM.

Why not jump on the Radio Control Rock Crawling bandwagon with: 3 Rivers RCRC? That could work. Just my 2 cents. I should get on rebuilding the TXT, but I have a few other things occupying my time...way to many other things.... Just need parts for the TXT and time to drill out the frame and cut down wheels. |

Hey man, no rush on gettin my wheels cut down or punching holes in the frame. I have been plenty busy myself. Not to mention a pair of static models followed me home the other day...and there is the long unbuilt paper clock, but that has its own story.... I am partial to 3 Rivers RC^2. (that is how to do the squared bit) But then again I am nerd with a ME degree and all.... On a side note, are there any other indoor shooting ranges that are open besides the one in New Stanton? My Kimber wants to come out and play. |

What do you have? I used to shoot competition Pistol (100yd plates and silohettes (spelling?). Have been out of it for years now. My one buddy is a Grand Master in combat shoots and took nationals several years ago. I used to have an Anshutz, a TC Contender 44mag and 45-70 handcannon. All I have left is a SW 586, SW 940? and a High Standard 22.

I just have my Kimber Stainless Pro Carry II 45, and a Rem 22LR rifle. Nice to see there are others that have way too many expensive hobbies. I wish I could do that long range pistol shooting, but after about 25 yards I struggle. Now 15-7 yards is where I mainly shoot so I am good there.

That was a long time ago. It was a 6X9 metal plate at 100 yds. You had to use straight walled rounds with open sites. It looked a little smaller than a cigarette pack on top of the sites... I probably couldn't see it now. We also would have member drives with jugs at 100 yards. That is when I would pull out the handcannon...those jugs would go 30 feet in the air. |

Nice nice, sounds like a lot of fun. I can only imagine what that hand cannon would do. I know what a 44 mag will do to a jug. I personally prefer what happens to jugs or a cinder block when you go plinking with a Barrett, talk about total obliteration!
