Northest scale shootout?

So a couple weeks ago this came up on my FB feed. It is located 15 minutes from my house. However the details are pretty slim.

Does anyone know anything about this?

This is all I could find:

Sweet! That's just a little over an hour from me. This is the first I'm hearing of it, but I might check it out. I'm especially interested in the RC MT competition.

I Just tallked to one of the directors of the fair, She said they didnt have anything lined up but would entertain having a r/c crawl exibit if you guys are close to Bangor (as am I) lets talk maybe we can throw something together with them,I have raced r/c in the past but am new to crawling and would love to build a movement in the NW NJ eastern PA area!

Some of the EPARCC events are 2 hrs from me and slightly less for you across the bridge. I am going to make more of an effort to attend the fun runs and scale comps with my son. If I'm going and you want to meet me across the bridge someplace, I'd be more then happy to offer up the empty front seat.

There are a few crawling opportunities available, but you have to track them down. I have recently seen events in Scranton, bangor, there was something a few weeks back in Washington, nj. I generally find them on FB when EPARCC likes a post or event. Problem is FB is such a mess with constant notifications of replies I end up turning them off and miss the stuff I want to see.

I also thing if you want a "movement" in our area you need to just start by getting some people together to go out crawling for a couple hours and build on that. I'd certainly be willing to get together for a couple hours and go explore some of the parks to find a few places to crawl. One of the places I want to try is the trail there at the top of bangor, I hiked it in college but don't remember its character.

If you want to try something shoot me a pm and lets go out and find someplace, Im sure we could find a couple more people interested just on RCCrawler alone.

Thanks for the info. I looked through that prior to posting and the details are pretty short. I'll reach out to Brian on FB and see if he can provide a little more detail on events.

Would this be a multiple day event like Motorama?
