RECON G6 Signature Event

In the hills of Pennsylvania, Raven Rock is a legend to some, a curse to others, and will be your quest when you attend the Pit Bull RC Super Series Mega-Cup Intergalactic Nationals of the Universe held at the Blue Rocks Family Campground.
Raven Rock has long been considered one of the most active extraterrestrial locations on the Northern Hemisphere. Evidence has remained elusive for hundreds of years, even though many have tried to find it. Those that have been close, have experienced bizarre happenings. Adventurers have reported weird lights and hearing screams as they search for Raven Rock.
What will you experience as you search for Raven Rock is unknown, but I imagine it will take driving smart, puzzle solving, having a sense for scale adventure, and a willingness to have a lot of fun. Then and only then, will you and your colleagues find Raven Rock and unlock its intergalactic mystery.

Mandatory Scale Requirements
- A tow strap is mandatory and will be used for a skills challenge.
- 10 scale items are mandatory. Most ready to run or scale kits meet this requirement. Additional scale items can be a driver, bumpers, a pet, a spare tire, gauges, lights, bumper sticker, etc.
- A headlamp or flashlight is mandatory for every driver on the night stage. Lights on vehicles is optional, but highly recommended.
- A small kitchen trash/camp trash bag.

Not Mandatory, But Highly Recommended Requirements
- Scale binoculars is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- A scale shovel is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- A scale bird to be kept in truck is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- A scale personal floatation device is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- A scale boat, canoe, raft is not mandatory, but highly recommended and needed for a special Float Your Boat Skills challenge.
- A plastic golf ball or ping pong ball is not mandatory, but highly recommended for an additional special driving stage. Must have your name written on the ball.
- A scale barge or boat to float your scale adventure rig thru a special skills stage. Your barge/vessel can be RC or self propelled. If it is self propelled, your barge/vessel must have a mount on the front for a small carabineer to clip to. Your barge/vessel will be automatically entered into the Exclusive RC Row & Shine Contest. The best RC & Self Propelled vessels will receive an award.

Raffle - There will be chances to win some great swag from our sponsors. Including a full size set of Pit Bull PBX-AT tires. You will receive one ticket with when you register. You may purchase additional tickets for $1 a ticket. The drawings begins immediately following the award ceremony on Saturday. Must be present to win. With the exception of the Pit Bull PBX-AT Tires. It is the sole responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure a good contact phone number is written on their tickets if they are not going to be present during the drawing for said tires.

Event Schedule:

Thursday - 3pm to 6pm Early Driver Check In / On Site Registration is open.
7pm AMain Performance Hobbies Overland Challenge - This event will test your driving abilities in a multi-lap course. Driver Challenges will include building a fire with provided materials. Constructing a usable scale bridge.

Friday - 10am to 12pm Driver Check In / Registration is open.
12pm - 11pm - Drivers Meeting / National Anthem / PitBull RC Rock Raven Adventure Stages open.
6pm to 6:30pm - Tekin Terracross track open for practice.
7pm - Tekin Terracross racing begins.

Saturday - 7:30am to 9am - Driver Check In / Registration Opens.
9:30am - GCM Show & Shine / Drivers Meeting / National Anthem
10am - 10:30am - Exclusive RC Row & Shine. Stage ALL Float Your Rig Vessels at the designated spot at the pond for judging.
10:30am - Float Your Rig Challenge.
11:30am - Die Rosterin Espresso Elimination Race held at the pond following the Float Your Rig Challenge.
9am to 5pm - PitBull RC Rock Raven Adventure Stages open. All Driver Log Books Must be turned in by 5pm.
7pm - Award Ceremonies / Raffle
8:30pm - PitBull RC Bonfire / Holmes Hobbies Huckfest / OnetoomanyRC Drag races / Wertymade Tug-o-War

Sunday Funday - It’s up to you! Sleep in or head back home or if you haven’t gotten enough drive time, enjoy the beautiful Blue Rocks Family Campground facility some more with the G Crew.

RECON G6 Classes

The RECON G6 offers several classes for all ages to have fun participating in. The driver of each class that records their adventure in their driver log book, have a chance to earn a “Driver of the Day” award for that class, but remember the RECON G6 is not a competition; It’s an adventure. It is so much of an adventure, that “Finishing a RECON G6, is Winning a RECON G6”.

RECON Rascals Kid Classes - For 1.9 or 2.2 wheel/tire sizes. RECON Rascals will always be awarded a Driver of the Day award. This is no driver minimum to make a class.
“Mini Me” - Scale Adventure driver 3 to 6 years of age.
“We Cool” - Scale Adventure driver 7 to 10 years of age.
“Big Dog” - Scale adventure driver 11 to 15 years of age.

RECON G6 Adult Classes - For Drivers ages 16 thru 39 years of age. Classes are divided into wheel/tire size.
1.9 Scale Adventurer - The class for all 1.9 wheel/tire size scale adventure rigs.
2.2 Scale Adventurer - The class for all 2.2 wheel/tire size scale adventure rigs.
Drivin’ Diva Adventurer - The class for women drivers of all ages.
If there are 5 or more pre-registered drivers of the same wheel/tire size, Driver of the Day awards will be awarded in each class. If there are less than 5, the class will be combined wheel/tire size.
Veteran Adventurer - Scale Adventure drivers 40 to 55 years of age.
Senior Adventurer - Scale Adventure drivers 55 & over.
R.A.D. Class - Handicapable Scale Adventure drivers that use a wheelchair.

Builders Classes
Trail Finder - A Class for leaf sprung scale adventure rigs. At least one axle must have leaf springs.
Truck Trials - A Class for multi-axle scale adventure trucks.
ST Class - Small tire class. Tires must be smaller than 4.25in or 107mm.
GCM Tiny Truck - Truck must have full interior, driver, tires 4.25in or smaller, must be presented in the GCM Show-n-Shine & finish all mandatory day stages of the RECON G6 event.

1.9 Trail - open to all 1.9 wheel/tire scale adventure rig.
2.2 Trail - open to all 2.2 wheel/tire scale adventure rig.
1.9 Rock Racer - open to all 1.9 wheel/tire rock racer.
2.2 Rock Racer - open to all 2.2 wheel/tire rock racer.
Open - If you bring it, run it! (some exceptions may apply determined by race director)
