Crawltoberfest 2017

Me and the boy returned from crawltoberfest late Saturday night after having a great time. We came out friday night and was greeted by light rain and fog, but that wasnt going to damper our trip.
Long story short, we came we ran, we had fun. Nice group of people, nice rigs.

Thanks to Eastern PA RC rock crawlers for putting on the event.

Great trails and some fun rock.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...08e2e84747.jpg

It didn't. He ran it around the gravel lot but thats it. Everything functioned correctly. But it needed pinion and slipper adjustment.

I didnt want to take it out on long runs just yet. It is very unstable side hilling. I need to sort out the shocks and maybe a lighter weight flat bed just for crawling.

But he really enjoyed what run timr he got. I am not expecting this to be a hard core crawler but from what i saw it is going to be a fun trail rig.
It is shelved until the mid December marking period. But i habe decided that i am just going to give it to him if his grades stay where they are. So it will be 100% his rig.

Looks like you guys had an awesome time despite the weather. I’ve always wanted to check out Rausch creek it’s not a very far trip from my house maybe an hour and a half.

The place is nice enough, we saw very little of it. However you pay 15 per adult for membership, then 7 for each day after that. They have camp sites with fire rings, tables and portapotties. You can't beat the price. It looked like you can also park rv's and campers in the lot for overnight stays. No water or power hook ups.

I wish life wasn't so busy, we would have happily stayed over Saturday night.

It was kind of funny, I think the 1:1 guys were more interested in out scale rigs then we of theirs.

Had a great weekend, weather was not as nice as I wanted but we had a great time driving through the park. We got to explore a lot more of the park. Big thanks to everyone that came out."thumbsup"
