Always things going on within an hour of you in any direction. However you really need to get on FB(sadly) to find them. Unfortunately, it is winter so the impromptu too get togethers are really the only thing going on when there is a break in the weather.

It isnt uncommon for someone to look for people to run with at 8am and have 10people on the trail by 10am, but you have to be members of some of the groups to find out.

I would start with EPAcrawler, maybe Sweetvalley, you are not to far from NJ so maybe some of their groups.

And then there is Motorama in Feb or March, cant remember.
