Not sure if i can make it. My jeep club and a few other clubs have a ride set up for that date at paragon. If for some reason they end up closing before then i may be abe to make it.

That is fine. That is a long drive for you for this. Plan the Comps when we start doing them. Look forward to meeting you.

Hey guys. This sounds great, I'll have to confirm later this week. I'm putting my Blazer in for repair. If all goes well I'll be there as well as my nine year old.
Bringing tlt and nylints. I'll confirm a.s.a.p. one way or the other.

I was thinking we could do a little swap meet. I know I have a few things I have been wanting to get rid of. Just making a suggestion.

Well, keep us up to date on where the location will be.

That is fine with me. If anyone wants to sell stuff...we might as well help out fellow club members. Bring your stuff. We can have a half hour break of swapping.

Great Idea!

Thumbs up

Me and StIcK kInG scouted a few spots today. The one I liked best had minimal parking but nice rocks. I like casparis http://www.fay-west.com/fayette/casparis/. I never been back to the mines or caves, but I have crawled there. Just a little bit up the hill there's some nice rock formations. Another place I would like to check out is Beams Rock. I was there a few years ago climbing. There should be some nice spots there.

I'm gonna check out some more places tuesday, but we'll prolly have the GTG in Casparis or Bear Rocks. I've been to Bear Rocks crawln before at Dougs house, but not this spot http://www.rockclimbing.com/routes/N...ks_Bouldering/ It's one place I'm gonna check out tuesday. LMK what you guys think.

They look pretty good to me. Those areas really remind me of crawling back in TN, where everything tends to very shady and surrounded by trees.

Coles, do you have any pics of the actual crawling areas or just the general pics of the areas from the links?

If parking is limited, I don't see why we can not meet up somewhere before going up and carpooling. Just a thought...

Coles,
Looks good. We will need some detailed directions for some of the people that are unfamiliar with the area. I recall the entrance to Bear Rocks.

I just ordered 20 used tennis balls for gates. I am hoping they come before the weekend so that I can cut them.

This is going to be a casual Meet and greet GTG. Some bashing and good fun. We will have a swap meet so bring your stuff and some money if you are looking for stuff.

We will also talk about the club. We have a veteran with bustedcrawler, he was involved in the Colorado launch and also in Tennessee. He can help us with setting up the club.

Spring GTGs will be casual. We will try to plan the Summer Season to start Comps.

Also, make sure that you check this site on Saturday and Sunday morning to make sure that it is still on. I will post no later than 8am on Sunday if there is any reason that we need to push it. That should give everyone enough time to pull the plug if needed before you get on the road.

John

Car pooling huh?

I'll drive if someone doesn't mind riding bitch! On second thought...no guy will ever ride on the back of my bike.

In the summertime I plan on riding to the GTGs!
