You guy's want to be cruel? After we are done bashing the little trucks, we can bash the big trucks and see what happens! Oh wait...the only other BIG truck I remember seeing was a FORD too! ;) Hell, even my little SUV was pretty big: And just to beat up on the little Jeepers a bit: Should have the truck done in the morning and will try to take a ride over to Roaring Run. Keep yuns' posted! |

Ferncliff Peninsula at Ohiopyle, also known as the rocky shore across the river from the observation platforms/tourist parking area. Might be a cool place to check out for a possible site. Short walk, just far enough that 1:1 vehicles would be out of sight... I haven't been there in the last couple months, so no recent pics yet, but I think there could be a few good lines there...

Here is a pic of the "trial". It's just a flat pea gravel path...not a hike in the woods so don't worry about falling! We could use a wagon to haul some stuff. The mountain bike trials are off in the woods. To the side of this bridge I think there may be a spot to crawl. Haven't been there for a while, but I can try to get there today. If it's too far of a walk then we won't go, but there are mile markers to let you know. The whole trail is 5 miles and the last 2 are clay. |

I'm leaving now to get those tie rods changed. I'll report back later on the Apollo spot and we can decide from there. Phatcrawler- How far can you walk with your asthma? Is 2 miles too much? I'll be checking later today on the walk to see the distance and time it takes.

Yeah, I have the other big ford. At least you can get 4.56s for yours. I haven't found a good cheap source for TTB 44 4.56 gears. I would love to have 4.10s or 4.56s in mine over the stock 3.55s that PO left in there. Hey John, I have 351 cubic inches to back up my tires! The old Scout of mine may have only had 283CI of furry, but it would rap 6500 without valve float....ask me how I know!! PhatCrawler....just take it easy on the walk. I have asthma too, and a lot of it is just knowing your limits and triggers and working around that! Besides, you bring out the lil red wagon and Mr Cubic Inches here could pull you around!! |

It's a 5 minute walk. 4 is totally level ground and then about 1 minute into the woods. Pretty easy. The second spot has awesome scenery and rocks of all sizes which is why I posted it, but IT IS A HAUL! Maybe if anyone wanted to see it, a couple of us could take a ride over since it's around that area. If possible, I can try and get to the spot with a rake and clear it out some.

definetley i can make the first on if its just a short trip into the woods from the cars ....i have severe asthma and have been hospitalized severl times cause of it i just chose not to take the chance going real far nothing against you or anything like that i just dont want to get all messed up but i can go anywhere we dont have to walk far to like more than 75 yards....plus my buddy john shoes is gettin kinda old ......lol........ i think you should maybe lower your tube work alittle down more on your frame it could be kinda top heavy on some of those rock ledges but that thing looks good i think those chassis are super capable ..... |

Phat, You are going. If we have to carry you, bro... We will carry your stuff you just have to take your time and get there. We need the whole club there, and you are part of it. Maybe pulling up your pants would help too... |
