Everyone needs to make sure they check this thread Saturday night or the latest by 7am on Sunday. I will post if there is a cancellation at that time. I need to leave by 7am to get there so I will post a cancellation by that time.

We will target a raindate of April 7th if not...

Well it was great seeing all of you again. We had a great turnout considering the forecast and weather. We were about to run one Super and one 2.2 Course. The Rain & Mossy made it next to impossible to climb a rock. I think on the super course I had a final score of 400,000,000 points.

I am officially calling this GTG as the April Fool's Shower GTG...

Thanks for coming and helping decide the fate of this young club. I will recap our decisions as soon as I get the chance.

Well, I took the whole 5 minute journey back there today....and boy, was I...well I was fine.

I added some weight to my axles.

I was able to do the 2.2 course except for that one bend where the left rear gets stuck in the hole.

Being dry and with more weight really helped out.

I figured it would...the Super would have been still a little challanging.

Masc,
It was a good place just difficult to get to. Us old guys struggle with hill climbs. I'm not 35 anymore...

Really...you don't look a day over 37! ;)

I decided to ditch the scaler stuff on top of the Bender chassis.

I'm going to hack the snot out of a body and slam it on the SW2 chassis. Probably the Jeep body I used in our first GTG.

I got Rockbuster axles and an MFM racing chassis (thanks to our For Sale section) comeing for the Bronco to make it a true scaler.

This does get expensive fast...doesn't it? One rig for looks and one for performance!

That's alright, I just snapped two axles on the Baja Bug. Now comes CVD's and RC4wd straight axles.

Expensive...yes, but it is fun! That's what I thought you should do. You'll be happy having a pure comp rig and a scaler. That bronco is gonna look nice on that chassis. Even though it's a......! I just pre-ordered a k2-4 so I can finish my blazer.
