oh, i wouldn't worry about that, it's not a tuber.

only thing i'm worried about not being legal is the body i i have to use with it.

but just in case the rules nazi's are there, i guess i should put a quick paint job on the spare cheap a$$ mcalister body i got from rockworks....

nothing is wrong with the body, i just plan on using a Parma Grasshopper shell.

it looks as if i just trim it along the factory lines, i will have GREAT wheel clearance...

I don't know what driveshafts you are planning on using, but I've been using the Maxx shafts with no troubles.

In my sig there is a link on how to do it.

If you plan on drilling the pinions, do it while you have it apart. I tried while they were still mounted and after drilling into my finger I gave up.

last 3 bullets in the vehicle spec rules:

The body must be 1/10th scale or larger.

The body can be cut/modified but must retain 70% of its original form, but the width of the cab
must be the factory width.

Body should resemble its original form (jeep bodies look like a jeep)

being just a GTG, the cab only may be ok, but i think we are trying to keep it as close to a comp as possible, to prepare for the real one comin up in junes (i think that's when it is)

Just got back from camping.

To answer your question on the body. 70% is the rules. Coles you are allowed that because it is a scaler an you are putting a cage over it.

We will have to see "the Man" on all these questions.

Who's the man??? You will have to wait and see.
