Default W.Pa.C. Summer Series Comp #2 (July 15th)

Well we are heading back down to the Yorkville Dam on the 15th of July.

We are also going to have a small swap meet after the comps. Bring anything you want to get rid of and an idea what you are looking to get.

More to come...

Hope to see everyone there.

This will be our sixth GTG/Comp...After this I will be submitting for recognition by RCCrawler.com

Let's make it a good one.

John

Thumbs up

I will definitely try to make it. I might even have two trucks running by then.

Isn't that place in Ohio? A bit far to be in Western Pa, more like Eastern Ohio? Especially since is is Pa crawlers? (Just thinking out loud.)

I assume we are following the rules posted here at RCC.

I just want to hook up and run some trucks and see if mine can stand up to other peoples trucks. I know what I have done with it and where it has gone, but it'll be really cool to compare it to someone else's truck for a change.

We can always set up a GTG in between the comps. I would be willing with all the problems I am having.

Bring up some dates in the Schedule forum or on AB-Charles private forum and put something together. I know that Busted, Lewis, mz_rubby, SteveStock and me would be willing. Possibly DRCman and STEEL_City. We are all in the same location.

Just a little FYI about myself. I work at a restaurant, so weekends are tough sometime, but NOT completely out. (My weekends are weekdays, most of the time. lol)

What are weekdays like for everyone? Mornings, evenings?

I would like to make it to something or be involved as much as I can. Even if its only a couple of people on a Tuesday or something. I'm sure some of you have kids, married, have "other" obligations.

So anytime for some fun would be awesome!! It doesn't have to be a "comp" all the time.

I registered at the ABC forum, just waiting for the OK.

I know the store. I like the new place. I was scared for a minute because I was driving past the old place a while back and saw a wrecking ball going thru the wall and thought the worst, then I found out they got a new home!!!!

I tend to frequent JC Hobbies in Penn Hills. I'm there a few time a month. Its closer.

I avoid hobbytown like the plauge. Its so damn overpriced it insane!!!

That is great but we really want to support the guys that we have in the club and the RCC vendors. Raceway Hobbies is a Vendor on RCC and a fellow Team member, AB-C has committed to sponsorship and support.

Make sure you support them and RCC Vendors first.

I for one would be down with a pre-comp running of the dam. Not to mention it is yet another GTG to add to the list of things we have done to get recognized as a club!

I want to see how the low rider does out there before the comp. I may have to have 2 sets of shocks set up so I can bounce back an forth between the trucks personalities of the Almost Stock TXT and the low rider.

Sorry SteveStock...But my truck got that name years ago!

I want to see a big turnout at this one.

9:30am will start tech inspection...make sure you have your rig ready for this.

9:45 am will be the drivers meeting...if you miss that, you are too late. (The Crawlin Coles time is 7:45am )

10 am or after tech inspections the comps will begin.

Per a conversation with BustedCrawler, you are only allowed to run one rig per class. That means me and Coles have to choose which one to use.

Talk it up, carpool if necessary...let's get a huge response.

Thanks
John

only one rig per person? that is a real dumb idea i got more than one rig and i plan on running both so too bad for the guys that only have one truck if u need to speed up the comps then start the next person in line once the person in front is 50 percent through coarse .......i think we should vote before rules are just made.........i might make it to the dam

oh yeah, bring it on!!!! i think i got my rig almost ready.....

ful on droop rig......
"shaved" SW2 chassis
still think i need to find a more scure way to mount the batteries...
i also may make up some shock mounts to get the shocks a bit more vertical, but it still goes pretty good as it is....
