Default W.Pa.C. AB-C Trials Course Work Party/GTG - June 30th

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

Calling all W.Pa.C. Club Members and anyone else that is interested.

There is a scheduled Work Party set for June 30th at Noon to help build the Trials course at AB Charles Hobby Shop. Let's show our support to them by assisting in building a Trials/Rock Course to help promote our hobby and club.

Lunch will be supplied by them. Bring any tools you need and if you have any materials laying around that may assist in construction...feel free to donate them.

I have already delivered some rock there and we will need to build an incline, bridge, obstacles, etc. Remember these will need to be outdoor worthy. If someone has some leftover outdoor carpet, bring it.

Let me know if you can attend and also what you can donate.

I will try to bring my compressor and framer for construction. Also screw guns.

If we get enough helpers...we could pound this out fast.

Let me know.

John

I'll check on plywood. I have some outdoor grade that's been sitting. Not sure of the condition But I'll check and get back to you. I may be able to come down for a while and pitch in as well

That's what I like to see, a team pulling together. I will know better when we get closer what we will need.

Thanks

John

I would like to get an idea of who will be coming to this and what they can bring. The LHS is willing to feed us but needs to know how many to expect.

I will keep the list here.

Great, Bring it...we can always use it. I have some prelim plans on what to do but nothing etched in stone.

Does anyone have some old conduit that we could make a bridge out of.

The plywood could be used for something like this...

Question

I have some cyclone fence top rail that may do the trick for the bridge. It will be just as hard to bend as conduit. I'll bring it along.

Question is...will it bend? And what is the diameter?

It's about 1 1/2 o.d. thin wall. Bending is not going to be an easy feat

Bring them...I think we can figure something out for them.

If you can bring them, we could see if we can use it. The more stuff we have the more creative we can get.

Just so everyone knows. AB-C has given us about a 20' X 40' area for the course and pit area.
