Was really excited for this year, but then Uncle Sam told me I'm going to be gone that weekend....

Sad day.

Tell the CO you have plans and you're gonna sit this one out.

Great news, and you are more than welcome to join us. I think a lot of us plan on getting there Thursday afternoon. Going to be great fun again this year! "thumbsup" Did you take the COLs advice? LOL

Haha not exactly. Our training got cancelled so I didn't even have to put up a fight [emoji16]

I'll probably be arriving Friday evening, late afternoon. The park is about 3 hours from my place in Oceanside.

Now I get to scramble to get my trucks ready! They have been neglected for 8 months while I've been deployed :(

Another event this year had one of those sleds and we did a pull-off. The winner was a 3300kv blx rig. You have to generate quick and ample torque as the sled moves forward so does the weight 'till it won't move.
A heavy high-kv rig with big tires is what wins these.

True but camping on site has many benefits, night crawls being the biggest.

I considered a hotel but I think I'd miss a lot of action if I did.

Since I don’t have the proper camping gear I ended up booking a hotel in Victorville, about 8 miles away. I plan on sticking around for some night crawling action though.

Hopefully I’ll run into a few of ya out there.

Stop by the 'ascender camp' - we'll be there with RV's. ;-)

I know Matt will be there, but he is usually helping Pro-Line out quite a bit. SRD has gone the past couple years and they had a booth set up. I'll be there with one of my Navy/FAA buddies...You gotta be able to handle a lot of trash talk around us. Most people just walk away covering their ears. :ror:

Nice! I’ll swing by and talk some trash with y’all for a bit too. My buddy in California bailed so I’ll be rolling down there solo, maybe caravan with a couple of others from BBRC

8x8 open class domination dude! My TRX-4 pulled the sled all over the place at RPP Jamboree two years ago and that was with all the weight they had plus some rocks lol! :lmao:"thumbsup"

I can't find that group on the book of faces. They used to coordinate everything on the freakz page, then it was the sin city scalers page, and now I guess its that one because the others are ghost towns.

I ordered some SSD shocks shocks for the Wraith and hopefully they will be here today. I hate Axial shocks.
