Anyway I'm gonna assume that camping is covered by Proline if you got tickets and that it covers Thursday through Monday.

EDIT: They do close the gates at night so anyone showing up late might be locked out. Last year we got the gate code after paying for camping.
Ya last year when I called ahead and paid for the extra nights camping, lady gave us the gate code, wth? We arrived late and gate was locked....wonder what the code is this year and how we get it?

Theres so much other stuff going on I suppose I would be better served if I didn't focus too much on the GS scavenger hunt anyway.

Yeah this is one reason I want an early start on Thursday. I was thinking worst case scenario you guys show up late and need to park outside but maybe I could load up some of your stuff on the other side of the gate and haul in what you need for the night.

I spoke will Paul from Proline today asking about the camping and he said not to worry about Thursday and some Proline people will be there (on Thursday), maybe we can ask them if they have the gate code for any late comers to get in.

Check the weather guys...a low-pressure system is blowing through starting today through Friday morning. There is a wind advisory in effect, with potential gusts over 40mph, and some light rain chance at 70% for Thursday. Daytime highs for Thursday is 62, lows to 42. This is pretty much winter weather for the dez.
By Friday sunny and warming up, but still cool and breezy. Saturday mostly sunny and 74.

We were slated to arrive Thursday afternoon but will leave early Friday instead due to weather coming up the pass. A wind advisory means to stay off the highway, especially Cajon Pass in a high-profile vehicle (32' motorhome).

See ya's Friday!!

Oh, and if you're tenting up there you better bring some extra guy lines and heavy stakes. Consider putting some heavy cargo or rocks in your tent. We've seen them rolling across the plain.

Guys - Ferp is just down the road a piece from the event location. He's up on the conditions out there.
Perhaps he can provide a live update on weather conditions throughout tomorrow.

Ferp - you're coming out for the games, right???

Chris i need to send you some extra dough on top of t-shirt cost to cover shipping.

team shinchu will not be able to attend this year due to a string of last-minute obstacles that are too unreasonable to overcome.

GET OUT THERE AND HAVE FUN FOR THOSE WHO CANT BE THERE!!!!!!!

Team Shinchu will return... at PLBTF 2020!!!! BIGGER AND BADDER THAN EVER!!!!!!

Shame you can't make it :( if you don't want to pay for shipping I can pick your shirt up and bring it down to you, I'm only a short drive from you.

I feel ya, man. Really thought I was going to make it this year, but then my place of work shut down a couple months ago and my secondary income (Ebay) took a nose dive for a couple of weeks. Wife would kick my ass if I put off the mortgage payment to go play with toy trucks, lol.

Expecting tons of pictures out of the rest of you.....

Thanks Ferp.
I no longer see rain in todays forecast and the gusty wind looks like they may calm down earlier than what was on the forecast previously, its showing 9-1.

No problem - just send me an address.

Complete bummer that you can't pull it off. Take care of the fam.

@FERP - Thanks so much for on-the-ground weather updates - appreciated for sure.

Cajon Pass still has a wind advisory, 25-40mph with gusts to 60. Not what we drive in with a RV. LOL See ya's early tomorrow.
Got some firewood...'by-the-fire'-2 at Ascender RV camp. Stop by and say hello.

EDIT: BTW, what happened to this website yesterday? Completely offline for most of the day. Forgot to pay their DNS registration???? LOL
