Default where to find metal ring and pinion gears(diffs)

i keep stripped the stock plastic ring and pinion gears and was wandering if anyone could tell me or link me where some metals were. thanks guys.

Just got word from PTI that metal gears are coming soon as well as a 3 gear tranny with dig.

Tranny is supposed to be ready in 3 weeks, not sure about the gears

2x LOSB3118 and a lathe
2:1 only, but the gears are strong

What exactly is involved to fit in the Losi gears? Link would be appreciated.

They're hardened steel gears so you'll need to good cutters. But I'd just wait for the PTI metal gears. They said they'll be available shortly. They are currently being made so give them a couple of weeks.

Hard? Cannot be harder than inconel. I have yet to cross paths with a metal that cannot be machined ;)

No offense but as for the Losi gear set up, it looks like a real hack-job. Too messy IMO. I'll wait patiently for the PTI units.

Well it's good to know that you are well prepared for the hard stuff. If you don't have the right tools or experience it can be pretty tough to get a clean job done.
