I run Locked Up FI Spools in a wraith with a tekin redline 13.5 on 3s and they are solid as the day I bought em! I have heard the Holmes ones are just as solid.

I really like the Holmes Hobbies Torquemaster spools. Set it and forget it.

I wouldn't take a set of free VP ones after the set in my Wraith. All replaced in Wraith and Yeti with the SuperShafty bomb proof ones. No issues with those. |

diff lockers with set screws usually are more trouble than they're worth. Locked up FI or holmes ftw.

X 20........ I've used the grip fab and ended up with a set of hr ones. No matter how much lock tite and adjusting to get them centered still come loose and cause axle wobble due to not being centered. Running grip fab now, have gotten a little slop.....gonna try FI ones and holmes for next builds. | |

I agree I've used Lockeduprc, Gripfab, and Holmes spools. All great options. Had a set of set screw lockers and wasn't a fan.

Stay away from set screws. They can back out (and will) and cause some serious damage. I love my locked up fi spools but will be purchasing the chromo HH offerings next.

Here's a thread where I asked a bunch of questions regarding spool lockers and ultimately went with the HH ones. This post in particular on page 2 I posted some photos along with some information you might find useful... Tell me about Spool Lockers |
