Default almost stock MMT Goliath build

Last night I finally started my PTI MMT Goliath build, it's been sitting in a box for 2 years now!
I was going to build it totally stock but after a few beers, I went with the upgrades. I'm still going for stock layout as far as suspension and chassis but with a somewhat upgraded drivetrain.

This Goliath led me to RCC 2 years ago after I bought it new, sealed in the box on ebay. Some reseach led me to the TC3 diff and Poulson gears. I contacted Mike and he shipped me out 2 sets of gears. After a little more research, I pm'd K_B to ask about some expired links and after a few more pm's he sent me all of his PTI stuff which included a axle housings, dog bones, a couple of spools, steel gears, a chassis and trans... almost a full truck!

Thanks again K_B

As I was going through all of it last night I started getting crazy ideas of 6x6 and 8x8! But like I said, I'm going stock first.

I'm going to try and finish this build in a timely manor but I will not make any promises! I've got a few projects going on and only had time to sit down with this because Buxom Melons didn't break anything during Sundays comp

------------------------------------------------------------------------
I got the 2 axles together, Steel Gears and Aluminum spool in the front. Aluminum knuckles in the rear... I may put steel gears in back too.
I didn't because I couldn't get the C-Clip, that holds the pinion on, into place with the steel pinion gear on the front though... it's wedged on there pretty tight so I'll see if it holds.

Better pics with next update.

Looking at all that brought on a sudden case of "seller's remorse" as I realized I could have made a nice winter basher out of it. Until I remembered I have a perfectly running SCX10 sitting here that I have yet to take outside

Glad to see you putting that stuff to use!

You dont happen to have a stock body laying around???

Its funny you started rebuilding yours, I just started mine over the weekend. They might not have been the best crawlers but they sure make great little indoor MT bashers.
