Most guys including myself use a GD-600 on the stock tranny. But you could fit a stealth tranny with minimal hassle. You'd have to fab up some 3" wide frame crossmembers and a 3" wide skidplate.

Stealth tranny comes in the Associated buggies and trucks. The pede would definitely not fit into a stock PTI chassis without mods. Neither would the Stealth, but the Stealth is a bit smaller so you wouldn't have to widen the chassis as much.
