Seems the biggest complaint heard is durability this is a huge factor in 4x4 crawling it just simply demands durability. Maybe this is an opportunity to produce the after market modification packages? |

| This is a thread to help PTI not bash them....if you want a wheelie king give me your GRC and go buy one. Like the one post said, if you build the truck right, baring any manufacturing defects, it can run pretty dang well. Yeah I have stripped a ring gear, did it in about 5mins, wasnt the trucks fault, I just didnt have the E clip on all the way. Put new gears in it, added a GD600 and so far I have trashed wheels and riped tires off the rims but no damage to the Truck (other than breaking the body in half). But seeing how some assemble them. I picked one up off ebay that some yahoo had built, and its no wonder why people bad mouth them....when they are assembled wrong they blame the truck not their stupidity. So go get your WK at least its RTR so you wont have to worry about assembly. Now lets get back on topic.... What can PTI do to make the truck better? with ver #2 (the one I hope they build.) How about a new body....I say XJ. People would buy them just for the body. And as for After MArket...Im working on that. I might and I stress might be getting a vendor star and selling some GRC specific bodies and I may have found a steel gear supplier. Last edited by jetboat; 07-21-2007 at 06:00 PM. |
