Default Center spool w. 5mm output axles

Yes, you did read it right...

Me and my friend have been trying to solve the problems with the GRC:s tranny, and we came up with this:

A solid steel center spool for the GRC, bolt-on direct replacement for the original. Output shafts are 5mm so you can bolt on stampede sliders, or similar..

Takes stampede spurs, cheap and easy to find....

Production pending, IŽll update when I know more....

The only thing is it's still just a spur, not a tranny. I don't think i'd spend money polishing that turd, just use revo shafts and the stub goes right in the stock outdrives if you cut the threads off. Then drill the outdrive to accept a small screw to hold the stub in place.

The nice thing about that setup is that it doesn't rely on that single screw through the center that strips out super easy. I'm also running Maxx shafts on mine and the soft metal outdrives are wallowing out like crazy. I had to shim everything up with fuel tubing to get the slop under control.

I like it myself but...2 things:
1: buy a vendor star ASAP, if the RCC gods havent already warned you they will or else they will just ban you.

2: your money would be better spent building 1 for the Evader transmission, you will see a higher return on your investment. (they already have 1 for the stealth gen 4 but the evader is an untapped market)

Just my 2 cents

well if your not selling them, my advice is
1: Buy a vendor star and start selling them
2: Buy a Vendor star and start producing them for the evader Trans
