Looks way smaller and the servo is lay down. Looks similar, but the scale is much different.

I think sally1800 is on right lead. That thing is HUGE to be 1:10 scale as we know it. Tires are SC type and that motor and 7cell battery seems to be in proportion with 4x4 slash chassis, they just made lcg version out of it.

You'rte probably correct in that it is on the large size for 1/10 comparing to like the xv-01 or Rally Legend. I went and read the spec's on their site and the wheel base is 13.2" which puts it a little longer thav the DRX so I would say it's more a 1/9 scale and probably close to the HPI Rally car. |

Wheelbase: Traxxas 324mm Kyosho 316mm Width: Traxxas 297 Kyosho 260 So, it's quite a bit bigger than the Kyosho. It may actually be close to the Thunder Tiger WRC Mini. Edit: In fact, no. The Thunder tiger is 330mm WB and 310 width, so yet another dimension. Why can't manufacturers look at each others products so we can get some consistency and competiteveness happening Last edited by Sith Lord; 10-04-2012 at 07:07 PM.

This really is a slash (324mm WB, 296mm wide = same size) with a LCG chassis and a crap body... LAME. What else would you expect from them though? They make 4 vehicles 30 different ways. This really only would be cool if there were some bodies available for it to make it look better.

Was just thinking, do we ave more tire options for the DRX now? No, they are just Slash size tires, 2.2/3.0 diameters @ 102mm. Another fail. It will be another bullet proof Traxxas basher, but not much more.

I like the tire tread design body is ugly but hopefully this is the begening of other manufacturers jumping on the bandwagon Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk 2 |

To be honest, I don't like it...that we have another option is good, but as monkeyracer and sith lord said why can't we get some consistency? The drx is more or less 1/7 scale and traxxas offering width wise, is 1/6 scale. I don't see myself getting this...to me it's simply just a short course truck with an ugly body. |

Body shouldn't be a problem, Proline recently announced a SCT sized Ford Focus or Fiesta body, if that fits this car and Traxxas didn't give them a heads up, they timed the introduction pretty nicely!

Theres the Pro-Line 14RS that looks way better than TRX orginal or P-L Focus, it's a bit more desert than Rally but i'd go with it. |

| Re: Rally craze Since that body was designed to fit a short course truck, and the Traxxas Rally is a lowered SC, it will fit it. I actually have one of the Focus bodies waiting to get painted and waiting for a stretched chassis for my MT2 to go underneath. The body is much closer to scale than the TRX body, but it is really wide and has pretty large fender flares. Still, I hope this means that other body manufacturers are looking into this size vehicle.

I didn't realize how much larger this is than the current 1/10 scale cars out like the XV01. Now I'm not as excited. If I wanted big, I'd get the DRX. Looks like the XV01 is back in the lead for my girlfriend's Christmas money. |
