Well I had to get one of these after trying out gdb's. the first thing I did was put some side guards on it but a lot of crap still got in there. So I went to Walmart an bought a cheap bag an some Velcro. With some help from my wife sewing on the Velcro I got a nice dust cover for under $5. The material is breathable an I haven't had any heat issues with it. Here are some pics

Not a bad idea Mike. Seems fine for dirt and all these fall leaves.

What about wet mud and water my man?

I'm thinking that's where a lexan lid would prolly do a little better job, ya know.

Nice needlework. A bit cheaper than the 'outerwear' brand (is that the brand??), I'm sure

It is actually pretty water proof. I ran it under the faucet an the water just beads off it an the other side was dry. I have got a good bit of mud on it over the past couple days an haven't noticed any getting through it.

I'm not sure what it is, it was a small cheap bag in the arts an crafts section of Walmart. I'll have to see if I still have the part with the tag on it an see what it's made of. I'm really happy with how it works an when I'm done I just rinse it off in the sink an all the mid an junk comes off.

I like it!! For that price, you can make up a bunch of them, and swap them out as they get muddy. Then wash them all when you get home. I see a trip to Hancock Fabrics in my near future
