Rally Tracks!

Here in Colorado we have several rally tracks popping up all over the place. How about everyone posts a couple photos of their tracks so we have a good source for track layouts and ideas. Feel free to include location, track details and anything special/cool about your track.

Here is how "HOON470" started out last June.

In the spring

A random track that I am sure many of you have seen before. I think it is in Korea.

We used this track when it was bitter cold out. It was just a temporary track, but tons of fun.

We named it the HOON House

Another temporary track we had for our CRC series. It was in GJM's front yard.

No tracks here in Pittsburgh yet, but I hope that will change.

Here is a cool little carpet track that some guy beats the crap out of his DRX.

Here is a track we made in a baseball field with disc cones. So you can see that all you need is a baseball field and some cones, and you can make some pretty cool tracks.

this has me thinking. Our landlord is a farmer, wonder if he'd let me make a track at the edge of the field

Made a temporary tarmac track right above our HOON470 track a couple of weeks ago. A lot of chalk and some stuff found around the broken tarmac made for some fun racing.

DOT and abandoned spaces right next to parks( I think still DOT). The last tarmac track is the old road, but the section in the first photo is the total length of it. It is right next to a road that dead ends and has 3 houses on it. The HOON470 track is on DOT. The BMX guys and myself have talked to the DOT guys and they don't care what we do and often come down to watch the bikes flying on their breaks. A track can be built anywhere as long as you are willing to put the work in, which in most cases is not that much.

Right on, I'll have to start looking. I always wanted to convert my backyard, but there was never enough space for my old street car. Rally opens the whole yard up. There is a concrete basketball court surrounded by gravel, and then a lower area covered in grass and dirt, but the drop off is about 4 feet so I would need to build a few things. I'm getting one of these cars and planning this thing out to have it ready for summer, you guys inspired me, this looks like too much fun.

Just thinking about getting a rally. Once my buddy drops off his bobcat I'll get to work on a track. Do you guys prefer one like a regular type track or one that you have to follow the vehicle? I've got a 1/4 acre lot to work with. Several trees around the perimiter. I do enough walking at g6's so I'm leaning towards standing on milk crates lol
