| Rally Legends RC Body on XV-01?
Considering ordering one of those Rally Legends RC Fiat bodies, just want to see if anyone has put one on the xv-01. I have heard that it will fit and that it won't fit, wondering if anyone knows for sure. Thanks

It will fit, but the front bumper and support would either have to be removed or heavily modified.

The Fiat 151 will fit, but you've do cut the foam support. The Ford Escort mkII will fit as well with this mod. Not a big deal tough, most of us here in Belgium did it, we even had car vs concrete, full frontal, at full speed (radio glitch) and nothing was broken. If you plan to heavy bash your car, or do some heavy racing with a lot of cars, you may want to keep it, but if you're rallying, or even rally-crossing (we are around 5 or 6 cars usually), it will be okay. I can get you a picture if you want. btw, about this car vs concrete accident, the body was the Rally Legend's Fiat, and it was flawless after the crash. So, it's safe to say they are pretty strong. edit : This is the kind of rally we do, so you can get an idea : http://www.youtube.com/user/ShiloMedia Last edited by Peter of A.; 02-26-2013 at 07:41 AM. |
