I think Tamiya needs to start popping out some of their disco'd bodies and stop getting rid of current ones. Its cool there is another body option with the XV-01 kit, but come on Tamiya bring back some of the 1990's models! ORRRR Even better make us a Citroen C4 WRC and Ford Fiesta WRC! I thought the Delta was old and just re-released a couple years ago? And now again with the XV-01?

| Re: Tamiya xv-01 Lancia Delta Integrale Actually it was one of the easiest body kits to work with that i have had. the stickers were die cut and the wheel wells were partially cut with the one I got. just use a little Windex to get the stickers into place. I love this body!!! i use it for last season rally championships. the wing didn't last long but it looks good. very durable |

Hey, Y'all, I've been lurking for a week, signed up to the forum yesterday, just rec'vd my XV-01, A Suburu Arai edition w/ no ESC, RX etc. chassis this afternoon I got as far as unboxing and parts inventory... This will be my first car build, but i have a lot of heli building under my belt. I've searched, then searched again, re: ESC for the stock motor...No joy... Should I dump the brushed can and go B/L? I.m a beginner, have patience |

I would look around for an older castle creations sv2 and brushless combo. Should run you around $140, and I've yet to destroy the two that I have, so I love em!

Thanks, EII, I've been poking around Tower's site, and came across this Duratrax B/L combo for around the same price... I love their easy-pay option... Is 4420Kv too high for the plastic gearing? TowerHobbies.com | Duratrax Onyx 1/10 80A/4420kV Brushless System What do you think? Last edited by HSteve5280; 10-11-2013 at 12:25 PM. |

Get the slipper if your going brushless. I'm running mine on the stock can and I really like it, it's not the fastest setup but still very fun. Mind you I do have a brushless combo(3000kv) for it, but before I put that in I'll switch to a 19t brushed motor first and see how that goes. |

The more I think about it, the more that makes sense. I'll pick up an ESC at my LHS and keep the stock 540 motor as a start. I can always upgrade in the future... | |
