wr8 ..so much fun

my friends and I all have the wr8 flux .. and they are by far my fav and best basher {as far as putting a smile on your face} havnt broke anything over 5$ {minus bodies lol}. these are stupid fast and im working on making is a little more fun.

the wr8 had a center gear diff .. that's great and very strong ..and is there to {try} to keep the car from flipping on asphalt .. but on half dry{like after a rain} the car is the most fun on road because it drifts and screams around corners .. but if you get to much angle that center diff just makes it fall on its face ..so im going to be working on putting a center diff out of a hpi bullet flux{I also have and love and is built very close } and turn it into a slipper center ..also gain the plastic gears from the bullit that are much quieter but still very strong .. so yeah this will be my build thread and trial and error section .. lol

I agree. Out of the three surface vehicles I have my WR8 is a friggin' blast, especially on 3s. I can't say the same about breakage but nothing I'm not surprised about.

My only complaint is the choice of bodies for it or lack thereof.

yeah lack of bodies sucks. That's one of the things holding me back from a 1/8 rally car.

ahhh.. as far as bodies .. super nitro rs4 rally bodies fit..and are reproed from Canada ..and as of last mnth they have all the sticker sheets awsell ..im ordering wrx and evo body next week

Love my WR8, it's a tank

Amainhobbies stocks the fiesta body for it for about 35 bucks which is pretty cheap, bought two of them. At Least it's a way to be different from the RTR and a hell of a lot cheaper than the kyosho bodies for the drx

It was a new roller, didn't come with the hpi electronics. Heard they are junk anyways

I have had zero problems with mine , neither have my two buds I run with .. water,mud, no real cleaning or maintenance ..works perfect .. not to make you swap just to let anyone that may find this post that I don't think that's the case anymore ..been almost a year of bashing on all three

I have 3 . And I have a GREAT track at my house, My friend and I just race the SH%T out of them , Gears and bodies , And tires, Everything else, Perfect. Almost as cool as my DRX's. They are all to much fun.

Yup... I have picked up both the WRX and Lancer bodies for my WR8 along with the MCI sticker sheets. Honestly the sticker sheets are not the best quality reproductions but they will do the trick.
