Default Associated ProRally

Ok so I am aware of the XV chassis and the Losi, HPI and DRX. I like the HPI and DRX a lot but the HPI price is a might higher than I like and I worry about the DRX being odd dimensions. Do any tires exist for it besides Kyosho?

Has anyone had any hands on experience with the new Associated ProRally? ProRally 4WD Brushless Powered RTR: Team Associated - Champions By Design - Nitro and Electric RC Cars

It seems to be nicely equipped, and maybe 1.55 or 1.9 wheels? Can't tell. Any feed back? I would love to buy the DRX, but I need mods to exist for it and since it is Franken scale there doesn't seem to be many.

Upon further review I do like the Kyosho, but would I perhaps slide a new 4-pole 550 in it to replace the slow factory motor? I am not OK with 26mph top speed on 3s. If there are tires known to fit it and I can replace the motor and leave the factory ESC in it I might jump on it.

I'll have a report in about a week, the sirens' song of tower's EZ pay + super savers discount finally pulled me in. I'm replacing the stock motor with a 4600 CC BL, and once I get a hang of it on 2s, I also ordered a 3s.

I'm interested in how this would compare to the xv-01.. Has anyone bashed one of these yet?

Yep I got one. Its just a short course truck, not 10th scale, not any true scale. Fun to huck off big jumps, but big, clunky and drives like a short course truck that needs tuning. Does great back flips though.

In short, not even close to the same scale and not half as fun to drive.
