| XV-01 lipo input needed.
I'm looking for a long running lipo to fit in my XV-01. Just ordered the kit, don't have it in hand yet. Can I get some suggestions based on what you all are running? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I just run 4000MAH 2 cell hard case Turnigy (Roar approved) packs, no issues from me. I did just have to throw away my old 3800MAH 2 cell turnigy packs... After 5 years of abuse.

I pulled the hard case off a Gen Ace 2s 5000mah 40c (saved me from buying a soft sided battery) I had to get it to fit, it fits really good now. I also rapped it in electrical tape just in case it slides around in the battery compartment?

I want to be able to run through puddles and maybe some shallow creeks (when in truck mode!) but I'm concerned about water getting into those battery packs... Cheers, Crouch | |

| Re: XV-01 lipo input needed. A few of us here in colorado run those packs in our xv-01s... Actually, enough of us use those packs that I've started putting my name on mine and the purchase date. I have a few with at least 3 years of solid use... Every once in a while you get one that dies quicker than the others though.... In terms of H2O proofing, I have never had an issue with them in water (snow). But that's why these packs kick ass, they're cheap enough that if one dies, it's not a big deal.
