North Florida R/C Rally Series

We are starting our second season.

Season 1 consisted of four multi-stage races, and 1 rally cross style race.

This season, we are going to open with the Rally Cross race on Dec 19. 11 AM at Hobbyworld in Jacksonville FL. The date (Sat. or Sun) for the remaining races will be decided on the 19th.

The standard race will be a closed loop, two cars racing side by side, for three to five laps. It should be a round robin style race, but could change if we have a large number of drivers.

Feb 20-21 (TBD) (Multi-Stage)

April 16-17 (TBD) (Multi-Stage)

I am looking to make this a regional event, so I will consider moving a race to a new city. This will likely start next season, but am open to making the Feb. or March race outside of Jacksonville this season.

I will allow any vehicle to participate in the races. This season is still about experimenting and seeing what works. Season 3 will start to see classes installed.

If I have enough 17 or younger persons, I will have a class for them.

Courses will be technical, and not set up for full throttle situations.

I will incorporating scale points into the mutlti-stage races. Points will be awarded for scale items on the car, and what would amount to a pit station. I'll be working on the details.
